Good news for all gourmets! The gourmet restaurant at the Hotel Einstein St.Gallen is adjusting its opening hours and now also welcomes its guests over lunchtime. A four-course gourmet lunch is now served.
The Einstein Gourmet is returning from its summer break with new opening hours and will be welcoming guests for evening service every Thursday to Saturday from 14 August. The St. Gallen gourmet restaurant is now also offering a lunch menu on these days. With the new lunch offer and the adjusted service times in the evening, the restaurant is meeting the growing demand for exclusive culinary experiences at lunchtime too.
At the same time as this innovation, the restaurant is also introducing a four-day week. With this modern working time model, the restaurant now also wants to break new ground in gourmet cuisine. «We are now using Wednesday as a production day, but we are there for our guests twice a day from Thursday to Saturday,» explains Sebastian Zier, Executive Chef at Einstein Gourmet. The extended offer now allows guests to enjoy the exquisite cuisine of the Einstein Gourmet in a relaxed atmosphere during the day.
The lunch service is served in four courses and 90 minutes, making it perfect for an extended lunch break or a business lunch. At CHF 185 per menu, the new lunch offer is also attractively priced.
In the evening, everything remains as usual. The two chefs Sebastian Zier and Richard Schmidtkonz, who have been awarded 18 points by the GaultMillau Guide and two stars by the Michelin Guide, offer guests a flavourful journey in four to six courses.
Gourmet banquets are still available on request from Tuesday to Saturday.

Sebastian Zier and Richard Schmidtkonz cook together with Kevin Romes from «Skin’s» in Lenzburg. The three 2-star chefs will conjure up a flavourful six-course menu.

A top-class Bordeaux tasting with rarities from 2003, presented by Head Sommelier Loris Lenzo and his team. Accompanied by a six-course menu by Sebastian Zier and Richard Schmidtkonz.

17 November:
Following last year’s success of «St.Gallen kocht», Sebastian Zier and Richard Schmidtkonz are once again looking forward to conjuring up culinary works of art together with top chefs from and around St. Gallen. In addition to the host team from Einstein Gourmet, exciting guest chefs will ensure an unforgettable flavour experience.
