Boat trip on Lake Lugano

Cruise & Cook Lago di Lugano

During an atmospheric boat trip on Lake Lugano, we stop on the other shore to enjoy an aperitif on the terrace with a magnificent view of the city. Afterwards, the participants can get their hands on the spoon and cook a Ticino risotto with the help of the chef! The risotto is then served with a typical meat dish, vegetables and a good glass of Merlot del Ticino for dinner. Museo Hermann Hesse
The Grotto Cavicc, one of Hermann Hesse’s favourite grottos

Museo Hermann Hesse – Grotto Cavicc

The museum in Montagnola, which is housed in the Camuzzi Tower, is located in the immediate vicinity of the picturesque Camuzzi House, where Nobel Prize winner Hermann Hesse lived from 1919 to 1931. A permanent exhibition recreates the atmosphere in which the writer lived: personal objects as well as numerous photos, books and watercolours give an impression of Hesse’s life. The museum also offers an extensive programme of temporary exhibitions, lectures, concerts, films, walks and weekly readings, making it a lively meeting place for a wide international audience. Just a stone’s throw from the museum is the Grotto Cavicc, one of Hermann Hesse’s favourite grottos, where he liked to retreat to this green corner of the Collina d’Oro.
